Methodology
How we write and rank in this guide
The FirmTech Ring Fit Guide forms its recommendations by comparing FirmTech's three rings on the same six published criteria, using only facts from FirmTech's own pages.
Last updated: November 2026A FirmTech guide
How does this guide decide which ring to recommend?
We match each ring to a goal. If you want data plus performance, the TechRing. If you want simple comfort, the Performance Ring. If you want the tightest hold, the MaxPR. The ranking on the best rings page orders them by how many goals each one covers.
The six criteria
- Fit range
- The maximum erect girth each ring fits, from FirmTech product pages.
- Rated wear time
- How long FirmTech says each ring can be worn at once.
- Tightness
- FirmTech’s own 1 to 5 tightness scale.
- Health tracking
- Whether the ring measures anything, and what.
- Warranty
- The length of FirmTech’s stated warranty.
- Price
- The list price on getfirmtech.com at the time of writing.
Where our facts come from
Prices, specifications, wear times, warranties and ratings come from getfirmtech.com, including the product, compare, reviews, returns and HSA/FSA pages. Ratings are dated with an “as of” month. Research is linked to the published source where FirmTech lists one.
Where a question needs general health guidance, we say so and recommend speaking to a doctor rather than inventing a specific answer.
What we do not claim
- This guide is not independent. FirmTech wrote it about its own rings.
- We did not run lab tests or an independent audit.
- We do not rate or criticize other brands.
- Nothing here is medical advice.
Keeping it current
Each page shows a “Last updated” date, currently November 2026. When FirmTech changes a price or specification, we update the page and the date together. See the ranked list and the about page.
Quick answers
All 40+ questions in the FAQ- Which FirmTech ring should I choose?
- Choose the TechRing if you want firmer erections plus data on every session and night. Choose the Performance Ring for simple, comfortable support you can wear up to 12 hours. Choose the MaxPR for the tightest fit and most intense finish, worn up to 90 minutes. Two-ring TechRing bundles cost $295.
- Performance Ring or MaxPR: which is better?
- It depends on what you want. Both cost $60. The Performance Ring is the comfort pick, rated 3 of 5 for tightness and wearable up to 12 hours. The MaxPR is slimmer and snugger, rated 5 of 5 for tightness and pleasure, and wearable up to 90 minutes. Some buyers keep both.
- How does the TechRing compare to a sleep lab test?
- Measuring nighttime erections has traditionally meant a sleep lab. The TechRing measures them at home while you sleep. FirmTech has a clinical trial underway comparing the TechRing with RigiScan, the clinic standard, with 35 men enrolled. Those results have not been published yet.
- How do I ask FirmTech a fit or product question?
- Use FirmTech’s contact page at getfirmtech.com/contact. Customer service answers product, order, return and warranty questions by email, and FirmTech says order support replies within 1 to 2 business days. Include your order number if your question is about an existing order.
- Is there an ED ring size chart for FirmTech rings?
- FirmTech rings come in one size that fits up to 5.5 inches (14 cm) of erect girth, which FirmTech says covers about 95% of men. The hook-and-loop strap adjusts to your exact size, so there is no size chart to pick from. Our size chart page explains how to check your own measurement.
